Attending to the Room: Sentiment Classification with Masked Language Modeling
Sentiment Classification is a common NLP task with multiple applications. Its use for bias detection and content moderation makes illustrates the importance of developing robust tools to contribute to the safety of online narratives. Social media is a common recipient of these tools, and thus, the cental focus of the work presented. Our final project for a Natural Language Class at CU Boulder was the creation of sentiment classification with masked language modeling.

Her definition of the new underclass focuses on those who have been systemically marginalized through the transition into a digital economy and society. This book review positions her work in the 2024 election cycle, and the broader implications for policy and access.

The community spurred from Wikipedia edits has generated chat pages, forums, and a variety of projects such as Simple English, Media Wiki, and Wikinews. On the Welcome page to Wikipedia, they feature an article, provide users with a fun fact, and have an In the News section.

Tipped workers are subject to the mercy of the consumer responsible and fluctuating paychecks while taxes are withdrawn so their local representative can spend thousands of taxpayer dollars on advertisements (frankly junk mail). Regardless of political affiliation United States Representatives are spending in a way many of their constituents can only dream of.
